About

Challenges we are facing

Cyberattacks have become an integral tool for authoritarian regimes to combat democratic institutions and political actors they consider enemies. Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and some other authoritarian countries possess significant cyber capabilities for conducting espionage, disruption, or destructive attacks that can severely complicate or even halt the work of organizations and individuals. The physical presence of employees or individuals in a democratic country does not protect them from the transnational repression imposed by cyber threat actors.

Our response

The work of Cyber Guardians for Democracy (CG4D) is dedicated to addressing this challenge and ensuring cybersecurity for the most vulnerable organizations and individuals. Typically, these entities lack the financial resources and expertise to counter highly sophisticated nation-state actors targeting them. We offer affordable solutions that deliver a high level of cybersecurity, protecting our partners' IT infrastructure and data from compromise.

Our approach

To ensure reliable cybersecurity for our partners, we thoroughly collect information on the threat actors targeting them. Specifically, we analyze their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), indicators of compromise (IoCs), motivations, and capabilities to develop optimal defenses. We not only provide cybersecurity solutions but also conduct training, develop incident response measures, and establish security operations procedures. One of the key components of CG4D is our community of pentesters, who rigorously test the effectiveness of the security measures provided.
